Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 17, 2026

1. Introduction

"aivi" ("the Software", "we" or "us") is a parental control and screen-time management product for families. We take the protection of your and your child's personal information seriously and apply appropriate security measures as required by applicable laws and regulations.

This policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect your personal information, and the rights you have. By visiting this website or using the Software, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

1. Account information: the email address provided by the parent when registering, used for account creation, sign-in identification and security notifications.

2. Device information: device name, operating system version and similar details of managed devices, used to bind a parent account to managed devices and to provide remote-management features.

3. Monitoring data: application-usage records and screenshots from the monitored child's device. Such data is collected only after a parent (legal guardian) voluntarily installs the Software on the child's device and completes the authorization process. It is used to help parents understand and manage their minor child's device usage and constitutes the core data of the parental-control features.

4. Order information: membership subscription order records. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as WeChat Pay; we do not collect or store sensitive payment details such as bank card numbers.

5. Log information: server access logs (e.g. IP address, access time) used to secure the service and troubleshoot issues.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information above for: account identification and security notifications; binding parent accounts to managed devices; providing core parental-control features such as time management, app control and screen viewing; and improving our products and services.

We do not use your personal information for advertising, and we never sell your personal information to any third party.

4. Protection of Minors' Personal Information

The Software is a lawful parental-control tool, not covert monitoring software: installation and initialization explicitly state the monitoring purpose and require the guardian's confirmation; a visible product icon and monitoring-status indicator run on the monitored device so that the monitored person is aware of the monitoring.

We process monitoring data relating to a minor only after the child's parent (legal guardian) voluntarily installs and authorizes the Software. Guardians should use the Software in compliance with their legal duty of guardianship over the minor.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is transmitted over TLS-encrypted channels and stored on servers equipped with access-control measures. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or loss of data.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties except: (1) with your explicit consent; (2) to the extent necessary for payment providers to process orders; (3) as required by laws and regulations or mandatory requests from judicial or administrative authorities.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal information, and to request account cancellation. Please contact us using the details below; we will process your request promptly after verifying your identity.

To remove monitoring data from a monitored device, uninstall the Software on that device, or contact us for assistance with deletion.

8. Updates and Contact

This policy may be updated from time to time; material changes will be published on this page. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions about this policy or our personal-information practices, please contact us.
