Switching server sites: China site, international site and agent sites
One installer serves both the China and international sites. The site decides which server holds your data and where membership and WeChat services belong. Users in mainland China generally use the China site (www.aishizhi.com); Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and overseas users use the international site.
I picked the wrong site — do I need to reinstall?
No. One installer covers both sites — just pick the target site from the dropdown under Settings → Server site; it takes seconds and needs no reinstall. The effects of switching are below.
What is lost and what is kept when switching?
| Item | Result |
|---|---|
| Local cloud account / device ID / membership | Cleared — sign in or register again on the new site |
| Parent password | Cleared — set a new one during re-initialization |
| Local slots and data | Kept — they continue to apply after switching |
| Remote management | Disabled and re-initialization forced; restored after re-binding |
How is the default site detected?
- It follows the Windows country/region, not the display language: mainland China → China site; Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and others → international site.
- So “Chinese UI but living abroad” defaults to the international site — expected behaviour; change it manually in the dropdown.
- The site list ships with the installer (sites.json) and may gain entries after upgrading; agent OEM builds show only their own brand's site.
Three places to switch
- The Server site page of the install wizard (when installing).
- The top of the first-run initialization screen (changeable any time during initialization).
- Settings → Server site (any time after installation).
